Passing of Princess Bajrakitiyabha
Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati has sadly passed away at the age of 47. Despite ongoing medical care for cardiac issues, she succumbed to complications arising from an abdominal infection. Princess Bajrakitiyabha had been unconscious and receiving treatment at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital since December 15, 2022.
Health Challenges
The Princess’s health significantly declined after May 21, 2026, due to an abdominal infection and various complications, including low blood pressure and cardiac arrhythmia. Despite the best efforts of her medical team, her condition continued to deteriorate. She peacefully passed away on June 11, 2026, at 7:48 p.m.
Funeral Arrangements
Following her death, His Majesty the King has commanded that royal funeral rites be conducted with the utmost honor. The remains of Princess Bajrakitiyabha will be enshrined at Biman Rataya Pavilion within the Grand Palace, adhering to royal traditions.
