The third Korea-China Business Leaders’ Meeting, hosted in Shanghai, gathered over 50 officials and business leaders, including KEF Chairman Sohn Kyung Shik and Bank of China Chairman Ge Haijiao. The focus was on enhancing cooperation in emerging industries, particularly artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductors, amid rising global uncertainties.

Co-hosted by the Korea Enterprises Federation (KEF) and the China International Council for the Promotion of Multinational Corporations (CICPMC), the meeting aimed to explore potential growth opportunities. Chairman Sohn highlighted the necessity of joint efforts in AI, semiconductors, and future mobility, urging both governments to implement supportive regulations and policies to enhance competitiveness.

Following the meeting, the Korean delegation planned to meet with Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng to discuss further economic cooperation.
