The new zone marks a wider shift: the Canton Fair, long a showcase for Chinese goods, is now opening its doors to trade in services, with Guangdong’s 25 designated international medical pilot hospitals leading the way. Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital, one of the first hospitals selected for the provincial pilot, used the fair to show how Chinese hospitals are winning over international patients through cutting-edge technology and care that respects cultural difference.
At the Fosun Health booth, Fosun Health introduced an interactive healthcare experience featuring Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), smart health monitoring, rehabilitation therapies, and health screening consultations, offering international visitors a firsthand experience of Chinese healthcare.
The hospital’s International Medical Center (FIMC), a standalone 20,000-square-meter facility with 100 beds, runs a "general practice plus specialty" dual-physician model that covers outpatient care, inpatient treatment, health screening and rehabilitation in one seamless loop.

Beyond attracting international patients to China, Fosun Health is expanding its global healthcare presence through partnerships, medical training, and cross-border collaboration.
