JAKARTA, Indonesia, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Twenty-eight companies certified in Indonesia have been named to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For™ Southeast Asia 2026 list, released today by Fortune and Great Place To Work®. Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison leads Indonesia’s homegrown representation, rising from #59 to #50 in the list’s second year. The company now serves around 94 million subscribers and positions itself as an AI-native telco, building cloud and AI infrastructure alongside its mobile network.

Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For™ Southeast Asia recognises 100 companies for creating outstanding workplaces across the region.
Now in its second year, the Southeast Asia list builds on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For, which has drawn on Great Place To Work’s workplace research in the U.S. since 1998. The 2026 Southeast Asia ranking is informed by confidential survey responses from 1,322,537 employees across ten countries.
Indonesia’s wider contingent shows how deeply the region’s top employers have invested in the country. DHL (#1), Hilton (#2), Marriott International (#3), Cisco (#4), Capella Hotels and Resorts (#5), Schneider Electric (#6) and Allianz (#10) are all certified in Indonesia. Manufacturing is the largest sector among the 28, led by Syngenta (#13) and including SC Johnson (#52), Alcon (#58) and Universal Robina Corporation (#82). Healthcare and pharmaceutical companies Servier (#25), MSD (#49), Medtronic (#54), Becton Dickinson (#93) and Galderma (#98) also makes the list.
Evelyn Kwek, Managing Director, Great Place To Work® Southeast Asia and ANZ, said:
"Indonesia’s workforce offers enormous potential, but businesses need strong workplace cultures to turn that potential into performance. As companies invest in new technology, culture is critical to translating that investment into higher productivity and competitive advantage. Indosat’s rise to No. 50 on this year’s Fortune list highlights the importance of a strong workplace culture as the company pursues its technology ambitions."
"Successful transformation depends on developing people’s capabilities alongside investment in infrastructure. That investment in people and infrastructure helps Indonesia build stronger industries and creates more opportunities for employees to contribute to, and benefit from, the country’s growth."
